Terms of Service

1. Customer Responsibilities & Yard Access

  • Access: Clients must provide safe, unobstructed access to the yard. If we cannot enter due to locked gates or obstacles, you will still be charged for the visit.
  • Gate Safety: Please ensure gates are in good working order. TC Poo Patrol is not responsible for pets escaping due to faulty gates or fencing.
  • Lawn Maintenance: To ensure a thorough cleaning, lawns should be kept at a reasonable length. Waste missed due to tall grass or excessive leaves will be cleared during the next visit after the lawn is maintained.
  • Account Updates: Please promptly notify us of any changes to the number of pets on your property.

2. Safety & Pets

  • Dangerous Pets: We enjoy working alongside friendly dogs! However, if a pet is aggressive or prevents us from cleaning, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot complete the service due to safety concerns, you will be charged for the visit and we will perform “Double Duty” the following week.
  • Incidents: If a technician is bitten or attacked, service will be paused immediately pending a manager review.

3. Billing & Pricing

  • Pricing: Online quotes are estimates; final pricing is confirmed after the first physical yard inspection.
  • Recurring Service: Monthly fees are based on a 52-week calendar, averaged over 12 months. This keeps your bill consistent, even during 5-week months.
  • Payment Schedule: Payments for recurring service are due on the 1st of each month. Late payments are subject to a $10 late fee. Failure to pay before the first cleaning of the month will result in removal from the schedule.
  • Initial Cleanups: One-time or initial cleanup payments are due upon completion. If you receive a discounted initial cleanup, a 3-month minimum subscription is required; otherwise, the full initial fee will be retroactively charged.

4. Weather & Holiday Policies

  • Severe Weather: We operate year-round in rain or snow. If unsafe conditions (extreme ice/lightning) prevent service, we will perform “Double Duty” the following week. You will still be charged the full month as the waste accumulation remains the same.
  • Winter Scooping: We cannot scoop what we cannot see. Waste buried under snow will be cleared as soon as the snow melts.
  • Holidays: We are closed on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and from Dec 25th – Jan 1st. You will still be charged the full monthly rate, as we will perform “Double Duty” to clear the two-week accumulation upon our return.

5. Waste Disposal

  • Standard Service: Waste is double-bagged and placed in your on-site trash receptacle.
  • Premium Service: Waste haul-away is available as a premium add-on. Please contact us for pricing.

6. Cancellations & Pauses

  • Notice: You may cancel at any time with 48-hour notice. Cancellations made mid-month will receive a pro-rated refund for unperformed services.
  • Pausing: Service can be paused via your client portal. Please note that resuming service after a pause may trigger a new “Initial Cleanup” or “Spring Cleanup” fee due to waste accumulation.

7. General Terms

  • TC Poo Patrol assumes no liability for damage to yards, gates, or pets.
  • Fees and promotions are subject to change with at least 30 days’ notice.
  • By initiating service, both parties agree to these terms.
